CPG fabricates a wide variety of prism types utilizing substrate materials including fused silica, Si, Ge, ZnSe, ZnS, CaF2, MgF2, Cleartran and AMTIR. Carefully controlled fabrication and coating processes allow us to consistently deliver superior performance. A full suite of advanced metrology instruments enable us to achieve and verify arc second level angle accuracy.

Right Angle Prisms

CPG fabricates right angle prims from infrared applications from a variety of substrate materials including fused silica, Si, Ge, ZnSe, ZnS, CaF2, MgF2, Cleartran and AMTIR. Our prisms are characterized by high quality surfaces, minimal edge defects, large clear apertures, tight angular tolerances and low wavefront error performance.

Rhomb Prisms

CPG manufactures a variety of rhomb prisms optimized for demanding applications. Our rhomb prisms can be fabricated from a variety of materials including fused silica, Si, Ge, ZnSe, ZnS, CaF2, MgF2, Cleartran and AMTIR and are optimized for minimal defects and large clear apertures. Pentaprisms

CPG manufactures a variety high performance pentaprisms optimized for demanding laser applications. Our pentaprisms are fabricated from a variety of materials including fused silica, Si, Ge, ZnSe, ZnS, CaF2, MgF2, Cleartran and AMTIR and are optimized for minimal defects and large clear apertures. Our highly controlled fabrication and coating processes combined with advanced metrology technology enable prisms tight angular tolerances, low wavefront error and complex spectral performance.

Risley Prism Pairs

CPG manufactures a variety of Risley (wedge) prisms to enable high accuracy laser beam steering in a wide variety of demanding military, industrial and instrumentation applications. Our wedged prism pairs are manufactured with extreme care to ensure precise matching of wedge angles, bulk material indices of refraction, and accurate transmitted wavefront performance. CPG can fabricate these prisms from a variety of materials including fused silica, Si, Ge, ZnSe, ZnS, CaF2, MgF2, Cleartran and AMTIR with minimal defects and up to 150mm in diameter.
